What are GoSport Holiday Activity Camps?

GoSport Holiday Activity Camps are full-day adventure childcare programmes for children aged 5–15 (Year 1 and above). Each day is packed with outdoor adventure activities including watersports, climbing, bushcraft, STEM projects, team games and more, all delivered by experienced instructors in a safe, supportive environment. 


What time do the camps run?

Our Holiday Activity Camps run 9:00am – 5:00pm.

Children can be dropped off from 9:00am and collected at 5:00pm. 


Do you offer early drop off and late pick up?

At the moment, we do not offer this. However, we are looking at offering this at the Gosport and Southampton for Summer 2026.


What ages can attend?

Holiday camps are suitable for children aged 5–15 years (Year 1 and above)

Don't worry we group up the children base on their ages. We want to make sure that everyone that attends our camps has a great time.



What activities will children take part in?

Activities vary by season and location but may include:

Gosport

This is the site that our watersports take place:

  • Kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding and rafting


All of our sites have:

  • Climbing wall challenges

  • Archery and axe throwing

  • Bushcraft and fire lighting

  • STEM projects and LEGO robotics

  • Team sports and games

  • Orienteering and adventure challenges

  • Den building and pioneering


Petersfield and Southampton

Our 2 land sites also have:

  • Lacrosse

  • Football

  • Netball

  • Basketball

  • Cricket

  • Tennis

  • Hockey/Unihoc

  • Wide Games

  • and even more


Activities are designed to keep children active, learning new skills and building confidence. 



Do children need any previous experience?

No experience is required. Our instructors provide full guidance and support for all activities so beginners can take part safely and confidently. 


Does my child need to be able to swim?

Children do not need to be able to swim to take part in our activities. All watersports sessions are supervised by qualified instructors and children wear buoyancy aids. 


What should my child bring?

Please bring:

  • Packed lunch (unless stated otherwise)

  • Refillable water bottle

  • Snack

  • Warm change of clothes

  • Sturdy trainers / shoes

  • A bag to keep everything together

Gosport

  • Water-friendly clothing (shorts and T-shirt)

  • Towel

  • Change of clothes

  • Spare shoes


Optional:

  • Wetsuit (limited wetsuits available to hire). You can pay for these for a day or the whole week.

All specialist equipment for activities is provided.


What is included in the booking?

Your booking includes:


  • Full day of activities (9am–5pm)

Each day is designed to be active, safe and engaging for children. 


Where are the Holiday Activity Camps located?

GoSport Holiday Activity Camps run at multiple locations:

Gosport – GoSport Activity Centre

Watersports and Outdoor adventure, sports, bushcraft and STEM activities. 

Southampton – The Gregg School

Outdoor adventure, sports, bushcraft and STEM activities. 

Petersfield – Bedales Prep School

Outdoor adventure, sports, bushcraft and STEM activities. 



How much do camps cost?

Holiday Activity Camps typically cost £45 per day depending on the camp and location. 


Can I get a discount if I book lots of days?

Yes, you can. If you book 4 days or more you can have 10% off.

Do you accept childcare vouchers or Tax-Free Childcare?

Yes. We accept childcare vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare accounts as payment methods. 


Are the camps OFSTED registered?

Yes. GoSport Activity Centre is an OFSTED-registered childcare provider at all of our sites. 



Are staff qualified?

All activities are delivered by qualified, DBS-checked and first-aid-trained instructors who ensure children are safe, supported and having fun.


What holidays do camps run during?

Our Holiday Activity Camps run during:

  • Summer Holidays

  • Easter Holidays

  • October Half Term

  • February Half Term

  • May Half Term

  • Christmas Holidays 


What happens if the weather is bad?

Gosport

Once the weather is outside of our safety parameters, we swap to our land activities or indoor activites. Our main aim is to keep children active all day long.


Petersfield & Southampton

Activities are adapted depending on weather conditions. We have a mix of indoor and outdoor activities so children can still enjoy a full day of adventure.


How do I book?

You can book online by selecting the camp and date you want to attend and completing the booking form.


Can children attend for multiple days?

Yes. Children can attend single days or multiple days across the holiday period, subject to availability.
