Job Role Summary
As a Centre Assistant, you will be responsible for the running of our equipment rentals and the presentation of our site.
You will be the first face that our customers meet and will be required to ensure that all customers have completed the relevant hire/waiver forms for their chosen activity.
Key Responsibilities

Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintain an excellent standard of customer service.

Responsible for the running of Rental Sessions and the logging of participants on and off the water.

Ensure that customers are correctly kitted for their sessions, inclusive of buoyancy aid checks and completion of Hire Waiver Forms
-
Carry out daily equipment checks and defects logging - inclusive of inflating paddle boards and checking buoyancy aids for damage.

Upkeep of the Operating Areas inclusive of litter sweeps, equipment management/storage and booking in desk.

Work as part of the team to set up, pack down and proactively provide assistance to all centre users during the day.

Be flexible in your role and willing to assist in all other duties as requested by the Centre Manager.

To operate within all of Prime Policies and Operating Procedures

Support the Paddle School with setting up equipment and assisting with getting groups on and off the water.

Ensure that the following are up to date and uploaded to Prime Paddling’s Storage Drive; Safeguarding and First Aid (minimum 6 hours).

Actively follow and report malpractice and concerns of safeguarding to the centre manager.

Ensure that changing areas and toilet facilities are kept clean and clear of loose equipment.

Actively portray Prime Paddling through attitude, respect and persona. For example, standing up to speak to customers, greeting them as they enter the site, looking proactive, maintaining a safe and clean environment, wearing appropriate clothing and branded uniform.

Deal with Complaints, ensuring relevant evidence is compiled if required.

Actively follow and report malpractice and concerns of safeguarding inline with Prime Paddling Policies.
