Keep the festive holidays active and exciting! At our Gosport Christmas camp, children aged 5–15 will enjoy a variety of land-based adventures including climbing, axe throwing, archery, bushcraft and STEM activities. Perfect for keeping energy levels high during the winter break, our camps provide safe, supervised fun while parents can relax knowing their children are well cared for.
£45 per day
What is included in my booking?
Your booking at GoSport Activity Centre includes a full day of action-packed activities, running from 9 am to 5 pm. Children will take part in a wide variety of exciting land-based adventures, such as:
Axe throwing and archery
Climbing wall challenges
LEGO STEM kits and creative projects
Team games including cricket and orienteering
Den building, pioneering, bushcraft and fire lighting
Plus:
A hot lunch provided each day
All equipment included
Ofsted-registered childcare provider
Childcare vouchers accepted

Do I need any experience?
No experience is required to join our camps. Whether your child is a complete beginner or already confident, our instructors will adapt activities to suit every individual. With land-based adventures such as climbing, archery, STEM projects and bushcraft, children are supported to learn at their own pace, build confidence and, most importantly, have fun. Every session is designed to be safe, engaging and rewarding — no matter their starting point.
What would I need to bring?
To make sure your child is comfortable and ready for a full day of land-based adventure, please pack:
Comfortable clothes suitable for active play indoors and outdoors
Warm layers and a waterproof coat (we’ll be outside for some activities whatever the weather)
A pair of sturdy shoes for sports and outdoor activities
A refillable drink bottle and a snack
A bag to keep everything together
If you don’t choose our hot meal option, please provide a packed lunch each day.
All specialist equipment is provided – from climbing harnesses and STEM kits to archery gear, bushcraft tools and safety equipment. Our team ensures your child has everything they need for a safe, fun and memorable camp experience.
What will my day look like?
Typical Day at Camp
09:00 – Arrival and welcome, join in with fun warm-up games
09:30 – Session 1 (e.g. Archery or Climbing Wall)
11:00 – Session 2 (e.g. STEM Project or Team Sports)
12:00 – Lunch
13:00 – Session 3 (e.g. LEGO Robotics, Orienteering or Den Building)
14:45 – Session 4 (e.g. Fire Lighting, Bushcraft or Axe Throwing)
16:30–17:00 – Collection with group games to wrap up the day
Each day is different — from creative STEM to outdoor skills — ensuring children stay active, engaged and inspired.
Our Facilities
Children have a private area of our centre during camp, with:
Dedicated changing rooms for watersports
Indoor unisex toilets in the main building and outdoor toilets close to activity areas
A refillable water-bottle station available all day
Daily sign-in and welcome with our team so everyone settles quickly and safely
Hot lunch served and eaten together, with time to chat about the morning and take part in weekly challenges
A small onsite café for optional treats (e.g. hot chocolate) at reduced childcare prices
All specialist equipment is provided and supervised by qualified, first-aid trained staff in our Ofsted-registered setting.
