Summer Activity Camp

Summer adventures for children aged 5–15 in Southampton.

An unforgettable summer of adventure and discovery! Our brand-new Southampton site offers children aged 5–15 a huge variety of land-based activities designed to inspire, challenge and entertain. From climbing wall challenges and axe throwing to STEM projects, sports and bushcraft, every day is packed with opportunities to learn new skills and make new friends. With Ofsted-registered childcare and expert instructors, parents can relax knowing their children are active, safe and thriving in a supportive environment.

£45 per day

What is included in my booking?

Your booking at GoSport Activity Centre Southampton includes a full day of action-packed activities, running from 9 am to 5 pm. Children will enjoy a wide range of land-based adventures, such as:

  • Axe throwing and archery

  • Climbing wall challenges

  • LEGO STEM kits and creative projects

  • Bouncy castle fun

  • Team sports including football, rugby, cricket, netball, tennis and rounders

  • Orienteering, pioneering, bushcraft and fire lighting

  • Team challenges and problem-solving games

Plus:

  • All specialist equipment provided

  • Ofsted-registered childcare provider

  • Childcare vouchers accepted

  • A guaranteed “great time”!

Do I need any experience?

No experience is needed to join our Southampton camps. Whether your child is a complete beginner or already confident in certain activities, our friendly instructors will guide, encourage and challenge them at the right level. From sports and climbing to STEM projects and creative sessions, every child will find something new to enjoy and skills they can take away — all while having fun in a safe, supportive environment.

Our Camps

What would I need to bring?

To help your child make the most of their camp experience, please pack:

  • Comfortable clothes suitable for sports and outdoor play

  • Trainers or sturdy shoes for sports and activities

  • Warm layers and a light waterproof coat (just in case of rain)

  • A refillable drink bottle and a snack

  • A packed lunch

  • A bag to keep belongings together

For cookery sessions, we’ll provide all ingredients and equipment — no extras are needed.


Everything else is included – from climbing harnesses and archery gear to STEM kits, sports equipment, bushcraft tools and safety equipment. Our staff will ensure your child is fully supported and ready for a safe, fun and inspiring day.

What will my day look like?

Typical Day at Camp

  • 09:00 – Arrival and welcome, join in with fun warm-up games

  • 09:30 – Session 1 (e.g. Climbing Wall or Archery)

  • 11:00 – Session 2 (e.g. Cookery in the Food Technology Suite)

  • 12:00 – Lunch

  • 13:00 – Session 3 (e.g. STEM Projects, Sports or Team Challenges)

  • 14:45 – Session 4 (e.g. Bushcraft, Orienteering or Axe Throwing)

  • 16:30–17:00 – Collection with group games to finish the day

No two days are alike! Children will explore sports, creative STEM, cookery and bushcraft, giving them a well-rounded and exciting holiday experience.

Our Facilities

Our camps at The Gregg School are held on a large, inspiring site with 23 acres of grounds, woodland areas, and gardens. Facilities include a dedicated Food Technology suite, science and design labs, ICT and art rooms, drama and music studios, as well as well-maintained sports fields and courts. Children will have access to both indoor and outdoor spaces—ideal for a mix of creative, active, and calm learning moments throughout their camp days.

Our Southampton Holiday Camps take place at The Gregg School, Townhill Park House, Southampton (SO18 3RR). Set within over 20 acres of countryside hidden within Southampton, the site offers children a safe, inspiring environment with exceptional indoor and outdoor facilities — all just a few minutes from central Southampton and the M27.

All sign-in, collection and indoor activities take place at our dedicated building on site. The School provides excellent facilities for younger and older groups alike, including classrooms, sports halls, fields and woodland spaces — ideal for our creative, land-based activity programme.

  • By car: Access the school via Cutbush Lane — off of either Junction 5 or 7 of the M27 

  • Sat Nav postcode: SO18 3RR (search “The Gregg School”).

  • ​The school is located within a housing estate so please drive slowly and follow the one-way system and staff directions on arrival.
