What's Going On?
The festival is a free, family-friendly community event celebrating marine activities, heritage and culture.
Visitors can expect:
Watersports activities like kayaking, paddle boarding and sailing
Land Activities like climbing, axe throwing, archery inflatable assault courses
Food, Drink, Stalls, entertainment and live music performances
Opportunities to get out on the water and try activities
It has been running for over 10 years and is designed as a fun day out for all ages.

How do I sign up?
Arrive on the day! All activities are free. All you need to do is fill out the registration form and collect your wristbands. Our Activities are walk up and queue.
Some activities like Keel Boats and Harbour Tours may require you to choose a slot. Just head to the activity to sign your name up.
Where is best to park?
Head to any local car park and get your parking ticket. We reccomend using apps like Just Park and MiPermit. This way if you are queuing for an activity you can always add some extra time to your parking.
How much does it cost?
The event is free. You may wish to bring some money for food and drink that is available. Or just bring a picnic.
How long are the queues? FAST PASSES AVAILABLE
Some of the wait times in previous years have been up to 40 minutes. Don't fancy waiting? Head to the GoSport Activity Centre Stand to get your fast pass.
Fast Passes
Buying a fast pass not only gives you queue jumping access to the activities but a month's membership to kids club and a fast pass to our other events. GoSport's Big Adventure.
Fast Pass Activities
There will be fast pass GoSport Members only queues for the activities available. Just show your fast pass wristband.
You can use the fast pass once every 60 minutes per activity. Designed perfectly for you to try every activity before returning to your favourites.

My child has additional needs, can they take part?
The Festival is for everyone. Either find out more at the GoSport Activity Centre Stand or ask one of the activity providers at their location on the map.
What should I bring?
We would recommend:
a change of clothes,
a towel,
a change of shoes
Sturdy shoes for climbing and axe throwing
Even if you leave these in the car. It is likely you will get wet on the water activities.
